NBA本賽季例行賽最有價值球員Stephen Curry帶領金州勇士隊以4：2淘汰「小皇帝」LeBron James領軍的克里夫蘭騎士隊，替舊金山灣區球迷奪下睽違40年的NBA總冠軍金盃，但《ESPN》知名主持人Skip Bayless卻在Twitter上質疑這座獎盃的含金量不足，機智的Curry轉推了Skip的酸言酸語並運用雙關巧妙反擊。

「我個人非常鍾愛Stephen Curry，不過金州勇士隊的冠軍路上避開了雷霆隊、快艇隊以及馬刺隊，而且擊敗的鵜鶘、灰熊、火箭、騎士4支球隊的先發控衛全數受傷，他們必須在下個賽季證明自己有總冠軍實力。」Skip在Twitter上寫道。

Curry轉推了Bayless的言論並且寫上：「Love you too Skip!」。由於Skip除了是主持人的大名之外，同時也是英文「跳過」的意思，所以這句話能解作「我也愛你，Skip！」以及「就是喜歡你跳過這麼多！」兩個意思。

Curry本賽季的封王路上連續擊敗4位同為入選年度第一隊的頂尖好手成為NBA歷史上有此紀錄的第一位球員，並且在21場季後賽中平均上場39.3分鐘，繳出28.3分5籃板6.4助攻1.9抄截4.7顆三分球，命中率45.6%的誇張成績。

由此看來，《ESPN》的Skip先生的確Skip了非常多Curry在季後賽中的努力，這個事件中也能看出Curry不僅在三分投射能力上制霸現今籃壇，就連風度、幽默感以及文字能力的運用上都屬頂尖。
